Steam room sizing: how the 53 standard configurations are organised
If you are pricing a hotel spa or a wellness centre, the fastest way to narrow the options is to read the series table as a grid: one axis is the cabin footprint, the other is the generator rating that is supplied with it.

The table in one paragraph
Every FENYA steam room is a room shell supplied with a matched steam generator. The catalogue lists 53 standard configurations across seven series, labelled A to G. Each row gives the series, a model code, the generator rating in kilowatts, and the cabin size in millimetres as length × width × height.
Heights run at 2250 or 2350 mm through the commercial series, and from 2100 to 2200 mm in the compact ones. Generator ratings across the whole table run from 3–4 kW to 24 kW.
The compact end: 880 mm to 1300 mm
Series B and series G hold the smallest cabins. 1B measures 880 × 900 × 2100 mm and 2G measures 1180 × 1160 × 2200 mm; both are paired with a 3–4 kW generator.
Series B then steps up through 1050 × 1100, 1300 × 1100 and 1300 × 1200 mm — still at 3–4 kW — before 4B at 1900 × 1300 mm moves up to 6 kW. The 2B row in the same series is listed as made to order rather than as a fixed size.
The commercial end: up to 6700 mm
Series A runs lengthwise at a constant 1900 mm depth, from 1500 × 1500 mm up to 6700 × 1900 mm. The generator rating rises with the floor area rather than step by step with every row.
| Model | Generator (kW) | Dimensions L × W × H (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| 5A | 4–6 | 1500 × 1500 × 2250/2350 |
| 6A | 9 | 2500 × 1900 × 2250/2350 |
| 8A | 12 | 3100 × 1900 × 2250/2350 |
| 12A | 12 | 4300 × 1900 × 2250/2350 |
| 16A | 18 | 5500 × 1900 × 2250/2350 |
| 20A | 24 | 6700 × 1900 × 2250/2350 |
What actually separates the series
The seven series differ mainly in which dimension grows, and which one stays fixed:
- Series A — fixed 1900 mm depth, growing length, from 1500 to 6700 mm
- Series B — fixed 1900 mm width, growing length, from 880 to 6100 mm
- Series C — fixed 2120 mm width, from 2540 to 5540 mm long
- Series D — fixed 2120 mm depth, from 1340 to 5540 mm
- Series E — the largest footprint family, 3140 mm deep, from 2540 to 4940 mm long
- Series F — fixed 3140 mm depth, from 1940 to 4940 mm
- Series G — a single compact cabin at 1180 × 1160 mm
In practice you pick the series whose fixed dimension fits the wall you have, then read across for the length you need. A 3140 mm deep wall, for example, puts you in series E or F rather than A or D.
What comes with the configuration
Each configuration pairs a shell with a matched generator, and floor plan layouts and installation drawings are supplied with it. The ranges are aimed at hotel and resort spas, wellness centres, private residences and commercial fitness clubs.
If your room falls between two rows, send the plan with its dimensions and we will confirm what can be built.
