Indoor sauna rooms: what differs between KA-4001 and KA-4004
Four model codes look like a range, but they are really one cabin in four footprints. Once you know which of the four suits your room, the remaining choices are the configuration and the supply format.

One timber, one height, four footprints
All four standard indoor sauna room models are built in western hemlock and stand 2000 mm high. What separates them is the floor area they occupy:
| Model | Dimensions L × W × H (mm) | Timber |
|---|---|---|
| KA-4001 | 1500 × 1200 × 2000 | Western hemlock |
| KA-4003 | 2000 × 1200 × 2000 | Western hemlock |
| KA-4004 | 1500 × 1500 × 2000 | Western hemlock |
| KA-4002 | 2000 × 1500 × 2000 | Western hemlock |
Read as a grid, the range offers two lengths (1500 and 2000 mm) crossed with two widths (1200 and 1500 mm). So the choice is really two questions about your room rather than four separate products: how much wall you can give the cabin, and how deep into the room it may come.
The same cabin runs three ways
Each of the four models can be configured as a light wave (far-infrared) cabin, a dry sauna or a sweat sauna. That means one shell serves both the infrared cabin and the traditional hot room, and the decision does not have to be made before you know the space you are working with.
It does need to be made before the order, because the configuration determines the heater or infrared panels, the controls and the accessories that ship with the room.
A complete room, or a panel and bench kit
The range is supplied either as a complete room or as a panel and bench kit. A complete supply covers panels, benches, heater, controls and accessories.
For project installers the rooms are engineered and pre-tested before shipment, which is the point at which a bespoke cabin normally becomes a site problem rather than a delivery.
Made to order
Dimensions are customizable to suit the room you already have, so the four standard models are a starting point rather than a limit. If you are working to a fixed opening — a basement corner, a hotel suite, a showroom bay — send the dimensions with the configuration you want and we will confirm the build.
